Archaeology Links...

Archaeology Safaris are keen to work with other like minded organisations and are also very aware of our responsibility as Archaeologists to operate in an ethical and sustainable manner.

http://www.finds.org.uk/ - The Portable Antiquities Scheme is a voluntary recording scheme for archaeological objects found by members of the public. Archaeology Safaris actively promotes the recording of incidental finds by anyone, anywhere via any activity. Such discoveries offer an important source for understanding our past.

http://www.britarch.ac.uk/ - The CBA is the principal UK-wide non-governmental organisation that promotes knowledge, appreciation and care of the historic environment for the benefit of present and future generations. Archaeology Safaris fully supports the CBA and its objectives - `safeguarding of all kinds of archaeological material and the strengthening of existing measures for the care of ancient and historic buildings, monuments, and antiquities'

http://www.archaeologists.net/ The Institute of For Archaeologists (IfA) is the professional organisation for archaeologists in the United Kingdom. It promotes professional standards and ethics for conserving, managing, understanding and promoting enjoyment of the heritage. The Archaeology Safaris team are members of the IFA and fully adhere to its codes and standards.

http://www.heritageaction.org/ Heritage Action is a rallying point for anyone who feels that society is deaf to the threats to heritage places, especially the most threatened of all, our most ancient sites. Publicising thretened sites with Heritage Alerts and campaigns to prevent damage and complete loss.
